IPSY Bag - February 2013

Hey Gorgeous:)
If you were not previously aware, there is this amazing monthly make up bag service called Ipsy. I have been subscribed since October 2012. Also, I have been head-over-heels in love with every bag. Anxiously, I am always counting the days till I receive my next HOT PINK bubble mailer in my mail box! Talk about obsessed, right!? Here is my review on this month's bag:
The make up bag is protected by the bubble mailer, so I have yet to encounter any problems with products being defective or damaged. If you do, no need to worry! In many cases, you can simply send a message to IpsyCare and you will be mailed a replacement ASAP! They have GREAT customer care, which I highly appreciate! This month, the bag was a sleek plastic and black-as-knight zipper make up bag. I was highly impressed in their simple, but stylish choice.
Product 1: The LASH CARD
I honestly enjoyed the lash card. It allowed me to apply my mascara to the roots of my lashes, and allowing the curl of my lashes to last longer. Great product! However, I feel it is overpriced, when you could laminate your card or retrace onto a different piece of paper. It is easier to use than a business card, but not worth the cash. A fun surprise, but not a winner at all. 6/10.

Product 2: Pop Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara
*To Be Reviewed*
Product 3: Mica Gel Eyeliner
I am both speechless and disappointed. I applied this to the top and bottom lash line. The creamy formula allowed me to create a flawless cat eye with precision and ease. After  8 hours, my cat eye had not budged a bit! However. . . my lower line had smudged and I looked like I had a black eye. Sad Face. Overall, I think this product was wonderful. I suggest you stick with a eyeliner/eyeshadow for your lower lash line and don't risk it. 8/10.
Product 4: Pixi Flawless & Poreless Face Primer
I was excited to try this product! I love a great face primer, and this one soaked into my skin with ease. It did not make a dramatic difference, but it greatly decreased the size of my pores. My skin did not react negatively, which is a good sign, as I have difficult and sensitive skin. I did not look flawless, but it is a wonderful product. I used this product underneath my Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream. I am most likely going to purchase the full size product. I have tried several other face primers, but this has worked best for my skin type. I love it! 8/10.

Product 5: Coastal Scents Eyeshadow Quad
Ipsy. Thank You. I LOVE Coastal Scents eye shadows, and their high pigmentation. I got the darker of the two quads distributed in the ipsy bags called -Glitz & Glamour-. The colors are the following from left to right: Candlelight, Gunmetal, Incognito and Ashen. This custom made quad is amazing to make a gorgeous and smokey eye look. I loved candlelight, as it gave me a bright highlight under my brow bone and on the inner corner of my eyes. The colors create a sweet rocker vibe with an edge. I was highly impressed with the selection of eye shadow colors matched together. My personal favorite. 9/10.

Overall, I think the IPSY service is a rockin' way to try out new make up and beauty products in a cheap and affordable fashion. Many items are deluxe sample or full sizes, a great deal in my opinion! You always receive more bang for your buck in every bag! I have the monthly subscription, which is $10 and includes FREE shipping. A WOW deal!? You bet! During the winter holidays, gift subscriptions were available and made a great gift for friends and family! What are you waiting for!? Join the Ipsy community and fall in love just like I did! No regrets. I will continue to do monthly reviews of all the IPSY bags I receive in the future. I hope you enjoyed! Please leave comments in the section below, if you have any questions or happen to be a part of the Ipsy community, as well!~
