APRIL IPSY BAG :D

Hey Everyone!

Sorry for the long absence, but I am back! I will be reviewing my April Ipsy bag that I purchase monthly through an online service program founded by make up artists. I always look forward to each Ipsy bag, but sometimes the products within are hits or misses! I am going to share my review on each product, so read for all the fun!

If you want to subscribe to the program, the please use my link below:

It's appreciated! Hugs & Kisses! :D

Two Cosmetics Duo Eyeshadow: Heartache

The Two Cosmetics Duo Eye Shadow in Heartache features two pink eye shadows. The eye shadow on the left is a pink with shimmer, and the other is matte. Both eye shadows are pigmented, but need to be layered for intense pay out. However, this allows either shadow to be used as a sweet pink highlight on the brow bone or inner corner of the eye. It is a good product, but nothing special in my opinion. I was happy to receive this, and reach for it now and then. At $5.75 without the promo code, it is a reasonable price. I will not be purchasing, though. 7/10

Sexy Hair Soy Renewal

When I discovered this in my bag, I just about let out a scream! Since we received the Sexy Hair: Hair Spray several months ago, this is a product I have been hoping to try. I have been using it consistently, and I have seen a difference in my hair. The product is suppose to help reduce blow-dry time, but it has not made a drastic difference personally. It has kept the moisture locked into my hair, and leaves my hair feeling irresistible. I plan on repurchasing this, and I recommend this product to anyone who suffers with dry hair that needs some hydration. 9/10

Be A Bombshell Blush: Sweet Cheeks

I love Be a Bombshell products! I remember receiving their liquid liner in a previous bag, and was highly impressed with that product. However, this time I feel differently. The blush is highly pigmented, which makes it difficult to not over build the product up even with a light hand. I received the color called "Sweet Cheeks", which is the darker of the two shades distributed in the Ipsy bags. I have a light/medium skin tone, but the color was way too over-bearing on me. Also, I was slightly disappointed with the ingredients in this product. What broke the deal for me was the ingredients, the blush consists of mineral oil and 2 types of parabens. If you are not aware, parabens are cancer-causing agents. No joke, you can check the Breast Cancer Awareness website for confirmation of this. I will not be purchasing this product, and plan on giving it to a friend. 5/10
